Ev's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cows and fertilizers to keep her crop growing well.

Ev's story

From Kompong Speu province, Mrs. Ev, 50, is a widow and the mother of three children. Two of them are still teenagers and attend school and the other one is employed as a sewing worker. She has been farming since 1984 and she makes an average of $1.25 a day. In the past, Mrs. Ev has always hired the neighbor’s cows for the chore of plowing the farmland. Right now, she hopes to buy her own cows and that is why she is applying for a loan from Kiva. This will provide her with an additional fixed asset. With the rest of the funding, she will buy fertilizers to keep her crop growing well.
