Las Maravillas Group's story

Marcia, 29, lives with her partner and has 2 school-aged children. She is currently a member of the communal bank “Las Maravillas." This group has 11 members who have a variety of different retail businesses. For 6 years, Marcia has been working selling food and juices from a post in the market. This business was started to pay for her children's educational expenses and also to help with the household expenses such as food and utilities, which her husband's salary does not completely cover. Martha got together some capital and set up her juice business, and over time she also started to sell food. Marcia tells us that it wasn't easy; she had to work very hard to get where she is today. Thanks to her effort and dedication she has managed to have a better income, her children go to school, and most of all her family can have a better quality of life. Martha has a goal of continuing to grow her business, and to do this she is requesting a new loan to buy supplies (such as fruit, rice, and noodles) to make her dishes. We know that Marcia will achieve her goals with a lot of work and effort, and the loans from Edaprospo will help her.
