Enedina's story

Enedina is a mother who lives with her son and husband in their own home. She has always looked for ways to make progress for the sake of her child. She decided to live in the urban area of her district and tend to her farmland during sowing and harvesting seasons. Enedina has never neglected her land. This is her most dominant business activity and it allows her to make profits. Her husband works and they use the profits that he makes to cover their family expenses. Enedina mostly grows corn and, after she has dried it in the sun and separated the kernels, she sells it for a good price, by the kilo, in the central market in her town. As part of her work, she selects some grains to be used as seed and thereby increases her productivity. Enedina has more than 11 years experience in farming. She has a desire to get ahead in this business that she enjoys and, for this reason, she would like to intensify her work with her crops. This is the second time that she has requested a loan from MFP. She remembers the time that she joined her group. Each one of the members of her group have shown themselves to be punctual in making their loan repayments. Enedina sees each loan as an opportunity to successfully invest in her farming. She will invest the loan that she has requested in buying sacks of organic fertilizer for her upcoming sowing season.
