A loan helped To buy soft drinks, sardines, and cooking oil for her shop.

Anonymous's story

This borrower, 56, is a widow with three children. In 2008 she started her food and provisions business where she sells such items as soft drinks, sardines, cooking oil and tomatoes. She was motivated to have her own business because initially she sold small items but wanted her business to grow to this size. Working six days a week and six hours a day, she earns about 8,000,000 SLL every month. She faces difficulty with inflation, but her business is in a bustling area with a lot of foot traffic.

The borrower would like a loan in the amount of 3,000,000 SLL. She has already received and successfully repaid one loan and now requires a new loan in order to buy more stock. She hopes that this loan will enable her to increase her monthly profits by approximately 300,000 SLL.

In the future, she plans to grow the shop and move into a larger one. The borrower is a very intelligent woman and will use her loan well. She thanks you for your support.
