Sukla's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a motorbike for her career.
Sukla, 37 years old, is a grocery seller; her income is $3.50 per day. She is married to a farmer who can earn only $0.70 per day. They have three children who are aged 19, 6, and 3. One of her daughters is working in a factory earning $3 daily income. Every month, Sukla has to spend $25 on food, $3 on electricity, $10 on transportation and $35 for other expenses. She would like to request a loan of $300 to buy a motorbike for her career. If she has a motorbike, it would be easy for her to travel to buy things in the market for her grocery shop. With the profit from her career, she wants to enlarge her shop and send the rest of her children to study so they can at least finish high school.
