Qolquewasi Group's story
At this meeting, the Arariwa staff spoke with Sra. Agustina. She says that she was born in the city of Quillabamba and now resides in the city of Cusco. Agustina is 51 years old, in a relationship, and has five children. She is a homemaker and manages a grocery store after she completes her household chores. Agustina has been in business for eight years and has done very well as a result of the effort she puts into her work. She is taking this opportunity to request a loan so that she can buy merchandise such as rice, sugar, and beer.
With the previous loan she received, Agustina was able to keep her store in operation. Despite spending more time with her children, Agustina has a goal of expanding her business so that she can generate more income to provide her family a better quality of life. With the loan she is receiving, she will be able to buy merchandise.
