Gloria Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy six sacks of manioc flour.

Gloria Group's story

Kavuo, the client who represents the business group called «Gloria», is an entrepreneur aged 33, married and the mother of seven children. Her husband is an ambulant seller of various items (peddler) in the town of Goma. She sells manioc flour in the little neighborhood market of Majengo. She has been in this business for five full years, and she has just completed 12 loans with Hekima. This new loan will serve to buy six sacks of manioc flour. Moreover, Kavuo wishes to put her children in school and buy a plot of land and build a house on it. This cllient thanks Hekima for its endeavors in favor of poor women who are excluded from the conventional banks. Please note that the business group «Gloria» is made up of 26 clients. Of course, two of them were not visible in the group photo. This photo was taken inside a Catholic chapel.
