A loan helped To buy a new donkey cart.
Salma's Group's story
Salma is a housewife who spends most of her time staying at home and doing her household responsibilities. She has given birth to six children. None of them is able to attend school due to financial constraints. Her husband operates a donkey cart. He offers loading and unloading services to his customers. He is very good at his work and delivers the goods on time to the designated places. She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her husband who wants to buy a new donkey cart because his current cart has become rough and rotten. The new cart will help him put more loads on it and provide better services to his customers. He is the only breadwinner of the family. Salma is hopeful that the loan will be helpful for her husband and will make his work easy and increase his profits. Note: In the photo, the lady with a book (called Asasah Passbook) is Salma.
