Luis's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to hire day laborers.
Luis, 38, is from the city of San Francisco and is married to Pastora, 36. They live together in their own house alongside their beloved three children for whom they want to provide a better quality of life. Luis is a very responsible man so he works with much dedication. The products he plants and harvests are: cocoa beans, coffee and corn which are sold in the city of San Francisco where he already has several buyers who, knowing the quality of his fruit, don’t hesitate to wait for him to buy all his products. What he most enjoys about his work is planting and making his land fertile and productive. He’s been doing this for 13 years and considers the most difficult part to be fumigating his fields to avoid insect infestations. In the future he hopes to continue to save his income because he wants to buy more land. This is his first loan with MFP. He knows that the money from the loan will be very beneficial for his work’s development. He is grateful to the institution for granting him the loan. The requested loan will be used to hire day laborers to do crop maintenance: pruning, weeding and fumigating.
