A loan helped to buy corn.
Fenou Group's story
FENOU is a group of 14 women from the same neighborhood. This is their first time requesting a loan through ALIDé, in order to increase their business activity and better meet their customers’ needs. The group representative, named Laéticia, has her hand raised in the photo. Laéticia was born on January 3, 1980 in Covè in Benin. Married to a chauffeur named Gilbert, she has two children, both in school. The couple live together with their children and share the family’s expenses. For eight years, Laéticia has been selling food products (corn, etc.) at her home. She buys her products in Dantokpa, the international market of Benin, and at the Glo market in Benin. This is the first time that Laéticia and her group are requesting a loan through ALIDé, which will help them to increase their business activity.
