38-year-old A. Edson, a happily married father of two has been working at his carpentry business in Omukashenyi-Kihihi for a decade now. He makes wooden chairs, doors, and tables. Since the beginning he has banked on hard work to make headway in his operations. He began his business with savings from his tea leaves sales business. He still does sell tea leaves though it's now more of a second fiddle business. Monthly he says his business profits amount to shillings 420,000 and he says with this loan, he is going to purchase more timber to make more chairs and other furniture to resell.
