Diana Derlis's story
Diana is single and 47 years old. She has her own house which has running water and electricity. She lives in Cerro de la Virgen, about 10 minutes from the distrcit of Guadalupe, 30 minutes from Pacasmayo and an hour from La Libertad (Trujillo). All of these areas are known for their agriculture, raising of livestock and toursim. Diana has earned a living for the last 10 years making and selling various flavors of natural yogurt, in her home. She also raises fowl (hens and chickens) to sell. Both activities help her to earn a large enough income to meet all her expenses. With the loan of 1600 PEN ($575 USD) offered by Edpyme Alternativa, Diana will purchase more supplies for making flavored yogurt and more fowl. Diana has a fixed clientele who place weekly orders. Her sales will allow her to pay back her loan and to improve her quality of life. Diana is known for being a happy, hard-working person who is always eager to continue moving forward.
