Kulbara's story

Kulbara I. is 45 years old and married. She has a tight–knit family with four children, where all support and help each other. Kulbara has been engaged in cattle breeding since 1993, which was started with the initial capital of 40,000 KGS. Today the farm allows her to earn about $150 in a month from selling milk to her loyal customers and to the local dairy. She works hard and makes every effort to improve her household, and for this reason she has applied for a loan of 100,000 KGS to purchase cattle. Using the revenues from this activity she plans to pay for a good education for her children. Bai-Tushum and Partners uses Kiva funding to target the especially vulnerable population.
