Mario Ruben's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped buy ingredients for making chipas: cheese, starch, cornflour, eggs, etc.
Mario Ruben's story
Mario S. is 44 years old, married to Inocencia Benítez for some time, and has 5 small children. He lives in his own house located in the Arroyo Pora neighborhood, district of Cambyreta, in the city of Encarnación. Mario and his wife have been in commerce for approximately two decades. They dedicate themselves to making and selling chipas, cocido (a Paraguayan beverage that is usually mixed with milk), marineras, empanadas, and a variety of smaller dishes. They have many customers, even to the Aduana zone, the commercial zone and others. Thanks to this activity, they have both been able to get ahead and expand their enterprise. Through this means they’ve also been able to maintain their home, educate their children, and meet any unexpected expense that might present itself. They have requested this loan to buy ingredients for making chipas (a typical Paraguayan bread product made with starch and a lot of cheese).
