Biasha's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase sewing threads, pins, cloth materials, and printed rollers for her tailoring business.

Biasha's story

Biasha is a married woman with one child still too young for school. She owns a house that has electricity but not piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family. For the past two years, she has operated a tailoring business. In addition, she has also incorporated a dressmaking school and a bicycle spare parts shop which contribute to her income. Biasha sells to her neighbours and to the parents of school children. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business since during rainy season it becomes difficult to operate in her area leading to low customer turnout. With the Kshs 40,000 she is requesting, she wants to purchase sewing threads, pins, cloth materials and printed rollers for her tailoring business. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
