Emilio's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped buy sacks of organic compost.
Emilio is 43 years old and is a hard worker, who very much loves his wife Sonia, with whom he has lived for 25 years, The product of their union is 5 children that they care for in their own house in the village of San Antonio. At a young age he learned the responsibility and hard work taught by agriculture. He as been devoted to this activity for approximately 26 years and his main crops consist of potatoes, peas and beans, of which he takes great care, knowing that every day is vital to having a good harvest. What he likes most about his job are the final days of the ripening period for his crops, when he sees his efforts materialized. In addition to this work, he is dedicated to raising his 50 sheep, which he fattens to sell to a butcher in the town of Acobamba, who he visits each month. For now, he wants to continue producing on his land and tending his animals, with the help of his 2 horses that serve as transportation, in addition to the 2 bulls that help in plowing and his 2 cows that produce the milk they consume daily. He belongs to the communal bank "Santa Rosa", and this is the seventh loan from MFP, where he feels fulfilled and has found an opportunity to succeed. Emilio will invest the requested loan to buy bags of organic compost to spread on his "canchan" variety potato fields, which are generally harvested in July. If there is sufficient money he will buy a bull to fatten.
