Angelica's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy three bulls.
Angélica, 23, is a hard working woman. She’s been living with Julio for five years. They have two children: Harinson and Medaly, who she cares for in her own house located in the hamlet of San Antonio. She’s been a farmer for three years. Her main crops are potatoes and gladiolas which she cares for with much dedication because, as she mentions, the potato wholesalers come to her fields to negotiate for her crops; she sells the gladiolas at Tarma’s central flower market. What she enjoys the most about her work is being able to help her husband with household expenses because she shares caring for their three bulls which Julio uses to till the soil and maintain his farmland. This is how both of them organize themselves to earn extra income and save for their children’s future that they want to provide a better quality of life for. She’s a member of the “Santa Rosa” communal bank and this is her third loan with MFP. She’s grateful for the help she receives because it will help her invest in the improvement of her crops. Angélica will use the requested loan to buy three medium size bulls that she’ll raise and fatten up to sell later at a higher price.
