Nueva Esperanza Group's story

The Women’s Committee “Nueva Esperanza” (New Hope) was established in 2007. This group has experienced many situations over the years that have helped them grow as a committee. They seek to achieve the common objective of “improving the standard of living of the members”. In addition, the members want to improve as people.

The women are from the city of Encarnación, which is 50km from the office of Fundación Paraguaya. This loan will be used to buy merchandise and supplies for their business activities. The members are excited about continuing to receive loans to help them with their ventures. They live in an area where there is significant commercial activity, so they need capital to promote their businesses.

The group is receiving a loan for the twelfth time. They are entering their next loan cycle with an excellent payment history. Mirta A., the group’s director, has made sacrifices to maintain her farm production and raise animals from her home. She encourages the members to complete their payments on time so that they can continue their line of credit.

Sra. Mirta’s only wish is to prosper with the loan she requested since the financial progress of her family depends on her.
