Rukarara Development Group-Kihihi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase other cash crops such as pineapples, sorghum, maize, etc. to resell.

Rukarara Development Group-Kihihi's story

Amiria K. is a 30 year old happily married mother of 4 high spirited kids who are all happily in school. Amiria, who is affiliated with Rukarara development group-Kihihi, has been running a food sales business for the past 2 years in Mizimera Trading center Market. Rice is what she has, for the most part, been selling, although she also has other foods for sale at her stall, such as bananas, cassava and millet. Amiria says she began this business with savings from her erstwhile milk sales business. Many of her friends describe her as courteous, amiable, tenacious, and determined in whatever she does. Weekly, she says this business generates her shillings 20,000 as profits, and she says with this loan, she is going to purchase more bags of other cash crops such as pineapples, sorghum, maize, dried beans, etc. to resell. In the group photo, one male member's face is slightly obscured and he has been marked as not pictured.
