The solidarity group SOPE SERIGNE FALLOU was founded on December 3, 2007. It is made up of 14 women who live in the same village. They organized themselves by neighborhood and similarities. The group is a part of the Banc Villageois of B.. Mrs. Mame N. (the woman standing in the photograph) is the leader of the group. She is 37 years old. She is married and the mother of two children. She rears sheep. She has a small herd of 12 sheep. With the loan of 160,00 CFA francs, she is going to increase the number of sheep in the herd. She is waiting for the big religious holidays to sell the fattest sheep. Her goal is to contribute financially to the needs of her family and also increase her savings with the Banc Villageois.
