Turqueza 1 Group's story
This group is named “Turquoise” because they live in a place where the ocean is a turquoise color and the sun and sand are well known. It is located in the state of Quintana Roo, Cancun, Mexico. This group is made up of eight members. Mrs. María Guadalupe is the president of the group. She is 26 years old, studies in the secondary school, and is a housewife with one six year old daughter. For the past year and a half she has been selling shoes from a catalogue. She is asking for this loan in order to buy the shoes and obtain more orders. This woman goes from door to door selling her shoes. She tries to get the shoes delivered by the date that her customers expect them to arrive, in order to provide her customers with good service. Mrs. Lupita feels very motivated and happy because with this loan she is able to invest her earnings and hopefully give her children a good education so that they can have a better life.
