Saint Joseph Group's story
The Saint Joseph solidarity group was created on December 4, 2007. It is composed of nine women who belong to the same church community. They see each other at parish activities. They run small businesses and raise pigs. The group is part of the Banc Villageois of the Association of Catholic Women of Sainte Thérèse. Mrs. ÉMILIE C. (standing at the far left of the photo) is the group leader. She is 39 years old, married, and the mother of four children. She runs a small business selling biscuits and dairy products. She started this activity long before she became a member of the Banc Villageois. Her new loan will allow her to better develop her activity and boost her revenue. Her goal is to help feed the family while increasing her savings with the Banc Villageois.
