Ngorongoro Group's story

Nagenjwa Ngema, who is in her early thirties is married with two kids. She has been running a fruit and vegetable business since 2002. She works from 5:00am to 8:00pm daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit. This will be Nagenjwa's fourth loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to start the fruit and vegetable business. She also built a small house. She has paid back her previous loans successfully. She hopes for a loan to increase her stock of fruits and vegetables. Her dream is to build another house. Nagenjwa will share this loan with her loan group, Ngorongoro which has a total of 20 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
