Bon Berger Group's story

J. Kabuo is an entrepreneur and president of the business group Bon Berger (good shepherd) which consists of 28 members. She is 34 years old and married with five children. Her husband is a teacher. J. Kabuo sells foodstuffs (tomatoes, palm oil, onions, etc.). She sets up by the road in the commercial area of the Ndosho-CAJED district. She started this activity with her own capital of $60 received from her husband. She has been in business for three years. This new loan will allow her to replenish her stock of products (four cans of palm oil, one can of Rina vegetable oil, one bag of onions, two baskets of tomatoes, etc.). She also plans to expand her business, give her children and education, and build a comfortable home. J. Kabuo wishes to thank Hekima for helping the less fortunate women who cannot turn to traditional banks.
