Bulbulaiym's story

Bulbulaiym M. is 39 years old and has two sons. With her medical education she worked as a nurse at the hospital. After the birth of her younger son, her marriage broke down and she became the only bread-winner for her children. Her salary as a nurse was very low and didn’t cover all of the expenses of her family. For this reason, Bulbulaiym decided to start her own business of reselling day-to-day goods. She opened a small shop and, using the revenues, she was able to make her elder son’s dream come true – he became the student of a military college. In 2005, Bulbulaiym’s tireless energy led her to open a shop with ware and children’s toys at the local market. She started it with the initial capital of 40,000 KGS and now her monthly earnings amount to 15,000 KGS. She worked hard to develop her business and managed to buy a house for her family. Bulbulaiym is now applying for a loan of 120,000 KGS to broaden her assortment of goods. This will allow for further development of her business in the market.
