A loan helped To increase his stock of meat.
Paul M. W. is 33 years old and married. His wife is a shopkeeper, and they have one 7-year-old child to whom they wish to give a quality education to the university level. Paul owns a butcher shop in which he sells meat to the local people at Kawangware in Nairobi. He has been in this business for eleven years now and has managed to provide employment to one person. He says that this business is profitable and the major challenge he has is financial constraints. However, he works very hard from early morning to late evening to keep his business doing well. He is using his loan of 50,000 KES to increase his stock of meat in order to grow his business and meet the demands of his customers. In the future, he hopes to open another butcher shop and become more financially stable, to raise the living standards of his family. He describes himself as responsible and aggressive.
