Luz's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped To purchase soft drinks and beer.
Luz is 57 years old and is separated from her husband. She lives in her own home with her 3 older children that have families of their own. Luz has been selling soft drinks, candy, frugos [fruit beverages] and beer from a window in her house for many years now. The weekends are difficult for her as she sells beer to her neighbors and young athletes from the sport courts in her neighborhood until late into the night. They prefer to buy from her because she treats them well and has lots of patience. This is how she makes a good profit as she does not make much from the sale of her other beverages. She would like to install a door so that people have access to her store, then she would be able to stock all kinds of grocery items in her store. She really likes this business and most of all she likes conversing with her customers. This is her 12th loan with MFP and as a long time member she is committed to making her payments on time, as she has done in the past. Additionally, her communal bank is very respected because they are so responsible. With the loan she will buy beer and soft drinks for the summer season.
