A loan helped To purchase more grocery products.
Zorig is 39 years old and lives with his wife and three children in a 'ger', a traditional Mongolian nomadic home tent, in Bayanhongor province in central Mongolia. His three children attend a local secondary school. His wife and Zorig operate a grocery shop within their own fence. His wife is responsible for managing their grocery shop while he runs a carpentry business out of his home where he produces a variety of wooden items according to his customers' orders to supplement his earnings. Zorig started his own business in 2004 by operating a coal and firewood trading business with working capital of 200,000 MNT. After years of successful operation, he was able to build his own grocery stop which opened in 2009. Today, his working capital exceeds 1,200,000 MNT. For the future, he hopes to have his own mini-supermarket. Zorig is a hard-working and modest person and says, "I plan to expand my grocery shop." He is requesting a 1,500,000 MNT loan in order to purchase more grocery products to sell at his grocery shop.
