Solidario Trabajadoras De Las Mies Group's story

SEMBRADORAS DE LA MIES Community Bank This community bank has three members. Jesarela M. B. has 6 children, 4 of whom still live with her. She is married and works from home every day making 'comales' (special dishes used for cooking tortillas). She makes her 'comales' from clay. She has been doing this for more than 40 years. Another member of the group is Celia Regina T. S.. She is 28 years old and tells us that for five years she has been making 'comales' from clay and selling chicken. She has three children and, through her work, she has managed to support her husband and family. Marta Eliza P. B. is also a member of the group and its leader. She tells us that she has been making 'comales' for 22 years. She has one child and, through her hard ork and commitment, she has been able to help her husband and get her family ahead in life. She tells us that she has many orders for the upcoming season and, for that reason, she is requesting a loan so that she can make and sell more 'comales' and, consequently, make more profits. She trusts in God and asks Fape to provide them with the opportunity to improve themselves with this loan.
