Mabulayi N. is the president of the Mapendo business group. She is an entrepreneur, a wife, and a mother of nine. All her children are studying without worry. Her husband is an artist. She sells used bags (purses, briefcases, suitcases, etc.) under the general name « the second hand ». She started her business with her own funds in 1983. Later, in 2004, she was the beneficiary of a $50 loan from IMF Hekima. She displays her products along Vanny Bishweka boulevard. This new loan is to be used to stock up on 50 more bags and to improve her house structure, which she is considering renting out soon. Beyond this, her ambition is to purchase a vehicle (car) for her travels. As a client, Mabulayi N. thanks Hekima for their actions in favor of underprivileged people who are excluded from traditional banking systems. The Mapendo group counts fourteen members.
