Aishekul's Group's story
Aishekul A. is a resident of Karabalta, a small town near Bishkek (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). Aishekul, 51, is the leader of this group. She is married and has five children. The youngest daughter is still at school and the other children are working. In order to earn money, Aishekul and her husband raise cattle. They have been doing it for sixteen years. Reselling cattle after fattening they earn 8300 soms per month. With money received from the loan, Aishekul wants to purchase a cow in order to increase the number of cattle.
