She moved here 12 years ago. She is the mother of two sons and a daughter. All of them attend school and get an education. Shamim is a hardworking lady who operates a spice-selling business. She sells salts, pepper and red chili powder to grocery stores and earns income for the family. Her husband’s name is B. A. and he is a bus driver. He drives a government local bus and earns income on a monthly basis. Shamim has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her spice-selling business. She has been doing this business for 12 years and hopes that an investment will be a good step towards the growth of her business. She is a new loan user of Asasah and hopes that it will be a profitabler experience for her. Note: In the photo, the lady with a book (called Asasah Passbook) is Shamim.
