Narynkul's story

Narynkul A. is 57 years old, married, and has six grown children. Her husband, Jumabek, is a pensioner and helps her in the household. Four years ago, in order to find means of subsistence and to make some savings for old age, Narynkul decided to engage in cattle breeding. Using her starting capital of only 2,000 KGS, Narynkul decided to start her business in cattle breeding and bought bull calves. She concentrated all her efforts on supporting and expanding her household and managed to raise her capital to 40,000 KGS. Now, Narynkul wants to take out a loan of 70,000 KGS to buy three bull-calves and four sheep for fattening and reselling. With the revenues from this investment, Narynkul plans to develop her farm by means of livestock breeding. In the future, she dreams to open a small shop with meat products.
