Santa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a bull.
64-year old Santa lives with her husband, daughter, and grandson in their own house. She has been a farmer and owned livestock all her life, supporting the family for more than thirty years. Nowadays she has no responsibility other than her farm where she grows corn and potatoes. The money she earns from the produce is used for daily expenses. A more profitable venture is the sale of animals which have been fattened for several months and then sold in the wholesale market at livestock fairs for a good price. Santa explains that it is thanks to this work that she has been able to support her family, and she wants to strengthen this side of her business. This loan is her second with Kiva partner MFP, and she is very happy to know that she can access this kind of financial support. She is grateful to be part of her community bank because all the members are responsible and committed people. She wishes to thank all those who donate money to her loan as it will be very useful in the development of her business. She plans to buy a bull with the money.
