A loan helped To buy plastic products.
In the city of Charapoto, the 'San Esteban' community bank meets every fortnight. This place is known for its traditional culture and also because it is only a few minutes from two of the best beaches in the province, San Jacinto and San Clemente. Here we find María. She is 43 years old and married. From this beautiful relationship, she has three children aged 18, 15 and 8. The older children are in high school and the youngest is in elementary school. Her husband is a salesman. María has a business buying and selling plastic products. She works from Thursday to Sunday in her town as these are the busiest days in the area. She begins working at 8.00am and works until 5.00pm which is when she closes. She buys her products in Guayaquil, from a factory called Plasti Sud. She has had this business for five years. This loan will be used to buy products for this month's sales. She has been a member of her community bank for 15 years and she is very happy. She likes the seriousness of her fellow bank members. Her dream is to have a bigger business with other branches.
