La Virgen De Guadalupe Group's story

This group is called the Virgin of Guadalupe due to the faith that the members have in the Virgin of Guadalupe. It is located in Mexico State. The group is made up of 11 members. Ms. Matilde Martínez A. is a member of the group. She is 36 years old and studied through primary school. She has a bakery and a total of 5 children. She has been selling bread since she started 5 years ago. She started by buying the bread and selling it, but now, thanks to the small loans, she makes the bread along with her husband, and they sell it in various parts of the municipality. Thanks to the profits they have made from baking bread, she has been able to buy a car that enables them to sell the bread in communities that are farther away. Her customers are grateful to her, since they can now buy bread in their communities without having to go far away, in addition to the fact that her bread has a different flavor than other bread. Matilde is seeking this new loan to buy flour and to buy more baskets to increase her production and so meet her goals. She is fighting to give her children a better education. She comments that she would not like her children to live through and suffer what they did. She would like to give them careers so that they have a better life. Another of her dreams is to have bread shops in various communities in the Municipality to achieve all that they want to give their children.
