K. Jackson is 58 years old and belongs to Bwambara women's progressive group-Rukungiri. He is married with 11 kids and to take care of them he has for the last 10 years been running an agro-produce sales business in Rushaya. He has mostly been selling coffee, maize and rice. 500,000 shillings is the amount his business generates for him on a monthly basis. Prior to starting his business, he was a civil servant. He likes to describe himself as trustworthy. With this loan he says he is going to revamp his business with substantial purchases of bags of coffee and rice that he says he will at length resell.
