Lorenza's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped Merchandise for her business selling meat, yogurt and cheese.

Lorenza's story

Lorenza is a member of the communal bank "Santiago the Patron Saint," located in the district of Santiago de Pupuja, the province of Azángaro and the department of Puno. She is 46 years old and married with seven children, three of whom are independent. She studied until the fourth year of her secondary education. Lorenza has worked with Manuela Ramos for four years. The first loan she got was for 300 Peru Nuevos Soles (PEN), and she used the money to increase the capital of her business selling meat and yogurt. She is now asking for a loan of 2,000 PEN, money that will be used to buy merchandise for her business selling meat, yogurt and cheese. Her dream is to have better machinery to be able to make dairy products and to have more capital to be able to bring meat to the mines. Her favorite things about working with the communal bank are the loan terms, the punctuality and the responsibility.
