A loan helped To purchase fertilizers and additional merchandise to sell.
Nelida J. is from the town of Sto. Niño. She is 45 years old. Nelida is married and has 2 children, aged 16 and 12. To make a living, Nelida owns & operates a business raising crops, planting and harvesting rice for sale. Nelida also runs a sari-sari store where she sells products like sugar, vinegar and also rice. Nelida is thankful she joined CEVI because her loans helped sustain her business. She even joked that she wishes CEVI would help them forever but deep inside she hopes to have a stable income and to be able to use her own money someday for capital. Nelida is requesting a new loan of 15000 PHP which will be used to purchase fertilizers and additional merchandise to sell. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to make improvements to their house.
