Rwensinga Twimukye Group, Ibanda's story
Operating a grocery store business has really improved her living conditions, having gotten herself involved in the farming business in the past. Twenty years ago B. Jane, age 48, of the Rwensinga Twimukye group, changed her business into a food selling enterprise. She sells products like beans, millet flour, peas and maize flour in the Ndorogi trading centre, Ibanda. She earns approximately $89 a month. A married mother of two adopted children, Jane has worked hard, knowing that her responsibilities are cut out for her. She has been able to take care of her family's requirements, including meeting the school fees for the children and other necessities. Her drawback is having a small stock of products to sell, so this loan will enable her to expand the business through buying more goods for her customers to buy. This will increase her sales revenue and allow her to live a more sustaining life. She is looking forward to business expansion and building her own store.
