Fatmata's story

This is 55-year-old Fatmata T.. She is married and has four children, ages 40, 38, 36 and 16 years. She has four additional dependents who live with her because they are her stepchildren and need support while they are doing their tertiary education. In 2005, Fatmata T. established her business selling provisions such as milk, Ovaltine, sugar, etc., as well as cosmetics and drinks. She began her business in order to generate more income to cover their household expenditures. Working 7 days a week and 12 hours a day, she earns about 1,448,960 leones (SLL) every month from this business. Fatmata T. requires a loan of 4,500,000 SLL in order to purchase more drinks, provisions and some cosmetics. She hopes that this loan will enable her to increase her monthly profit by approximately 173,875 SLL. In the future, Fatmata T. plans to assist her stepchildren with their education and provide support to her family. She thanks you for your support.
