Men's story

Men S., 37, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Seim Reap Province, Cambodia, an area known for Angkorean Temples. S. sells pork, frog meat, and fermented fish for an income of USD 5 per day. Her husband recharges batteries, earning an income of about USD 5 per day. The family has to spend USD 20 on food, USD 30 on public transportation, and USD 15 on children’s education every month. S. is requesting a loan of USD 1000 to purchase a motorbike in order to transport the meat she has to sell. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
