Leonard's story

Leonard O. is 32 years old and married. His wife is an accounts clerk and they have one child, aged 9 years. His business is located in Kakamega town. He has been providing computer services, including repairs, for the last eight years and has managed to give employment to two people. He gives services to offices, schools, hospitals and other institutions. He says that this business is profitable and the major challenge he has is financial constraints. However, he works very hard to keep his business doing well. He is using his loan of 40,000 Kenyan shillings to buy more computer accessories to meet the demands of his customers. He hopes to grow his business and diversify his business to real estate some day. He describes himself as very hardworking and self-motivated.
