Esperanza's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in a bulk purchase of sterling silver, jade, and silver chains.

Esperanza's story

Esperanza (pictured second from right), who works alongside her family (pictured from left to right: Estuardo, Pedro, Saira, and Nilse), is an artisan from Guatemala who specializes in hand-crafted jade and sterling silver jewelry. She would like to invest in a bulk purchase of silver, jade, and silver chains.

Esperanza has been selling through NOVICA since 2010. This is her story:

After working for silversmiths for six years, Esperanza and her family decided to open their own workshop. They are all involved in their family business. "We've developed a good working relationship. Everyone specializes in a different aspect, and we complement each others' work."

"Thanks to the people who help me to acquire this loan; they allow me to continue growing and expanding work to more families. I will be dividing this loan into three parts, one part would be used to buy silver, the second part to buy chains, and the third part to buy jade and thus have raw materials in my inventory to be able to replace products that are out of stock or products of urgent replacement."
