Diana Vanessa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy corn, cooking oil, plastic bags and firewood, for tamale production.

Diana Vanessa's story

Diana lives with her husband and six-year-old daughter. She does not have any family members living abroad. Diana has a business selling corn tamales, she also grows corn and beans. She works making tamales from 7:00 a.m., and goes out to sell them at 2:00 p.m. She learned this work from her mother and grandmother. Diana was able to open her own business about two years ago.

Diana is soliciting a loan because she needs working capital to grow her business. She will purchase corn, cooking oil, plastic bags and firewood to continue with tamale production. She hopes the investment will allow her to continue with her business, offering her customers a high-quality product, to increase sales and earnings.

Her goal is to acquire a bicycle with a cart attached, to more easily transport her merchandise and not have to carry it on her shoulders. She also hopes to improve her family's standard of living.
