Bendu's story

Bendu is a 50-year-old entrepreneur. She is a widow and has five children, all of whom are in school and live at home.

Bendu is a hardworking business woman who sells pepper, bitter balls, and oil. Her mother taught her how to sell and she started the business with her own savings. She uses a car to transport supplies to her business site.

Bendu is requesting a Kiva loan to buy more pepper, bitter balls, and oil to sell in order to generate greater income. She plans to use the profit she earns to meet her household’s basic needs and also grow her business. She is proud of her business because it makes her an independent woman. Her hopes and dreams for the future are to build a shop and continue her children's education. Bendu say thanks to all lenders around the world.
