Mama's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more fufu, palm nuts, and bags of charcoal to sell.

Mama's story

Mama is a 59-year-old entrepreneur. She is a married mother of seven children, all of whom live at home while attending school.

In order to help her husband, Mama sells fufu, palm nuts, and bags of charcoal. She learned about selling from her sister and started the business with her own savings. She sells Monday through Saturday, for 10 hours. She has been operating her business for 15 years now.

Mama is requesting a Kiva loan to buy more fufu, palm nuts, and bags of charcoal to sell in order to generate greater profits. Sales from the business will help raise her profit margins and increase her cash inflows to support her family and grow her business. Mama's hopes and dreams for the future are to build a shop and continue her children's education. She wishes to say thanks.
