Kuña Mbarete Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy buckets of ice cream and a box of frozen treats.

Kuña Mbarete Group's story

The group called Kuña Mbarete is a new committee formed by women who are heads of their families and fight to improve their quality of life. They are from the city of Concepción, a difficult area due to the presence of armed groups. All the members seek the way to be able to improve and get ahead.

One of them is Rosalba, who also is the president of the committee. She is married and has three children. She and her husband strive to be able to get them ahead and to be able to offer them a better quality of life.

Rosalba works making sales. She has a small store where she works every day, starting early in the morning. Through this work, she helps with household income.

She requests this loan to buy other products to add to her store, such as buckets of ice cream and a box of frozen treats.

Note: There are only three people in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo, to avoid gathering people during the Covid-19 pandemic.
