Lizania's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped a woman/mom that decided to expose her autistic daughter's art to create a legacy for her future.
These drawings belong to a talented girl diagnosed within the Autistic Spectrum. Denise Joaliz (DJ short for her name) is a minimally verbal young girl that was diagnosed with autism when she was 3 years old. Today, Denise is a 13-year-old adolescent. Throughout the years, Denise developed a peculiar art, full of colors, details, and expressions of its own. As her mother, I decided to share her art with the world and at the same time help create a legacy for her future. This project will help me, her mother, develop a business that will financially support Denise in her upcoming future. “Los Dibujitos de Denise” indirectly advocates for the autism community in Puerto Rico. We want to use the talent of a young girl to advocate for those who, like Denise, express themselves in a different way. “Los Dibujitos de Denise” demonstrates that people with autism can communicate and express themselves in many ways through various capabilities, strengths, and talents. This project has the intention of spreading the autism awareness message and expressing the importance of acceptance, inclusion, and love.
