01_Dayamada Group's story

This banc villageois was created in September 2012, and is composed of fourteen courageous women who live in the same village. They are bound by friendship, family relations and solidarity. They have successfully repaid several loans.
Their main businesses are agriculture and retail.

Madame Ndéye is 64 years old and is the group representative. She is standing on the right of the photo with a raised hand. She is married and the mother of two boys who are in school.

Madame Ndéye raises sheep. She buys her supplies in the weekly markets and works from home in her village, where she has her pen. She benefits from over 10 years of good experience in this business.

She will buy two sheep and sacks of feed to fatten them. She is able to sell her livestock without any difficulties and to make a good profit. Her profits will allow her to manage her personal expenses, strengthen her savings, and pay for some of the family expenses.
